Milky Cup

🥛✨ Milky Cup FAQ ✨🥛

What is a Milky Cup?

A Milky Cup is a double-wall cup designed to create the appearance of milk inside the cup.

Popular options include:

  • 🤍 White Milk
  • 🍓 Strawberry Milk
  • ☕ Coffee Milk
  • 🍵 Matcha Milk

These cups create a soft, creamy aesthetic that many customers love.

How is the milky effect created?

The milky appearance is achieved by mixing paint into the cup's solution to create a smooth, opaque color.

This gives the cup its signature milk-like appearance.

Does a Milky Cup have movement?

No.

Unlike our Honey Drip, Waterfall, Snowglobe, or Lava styles, Milky Cups do not have a movement effect.

The purpose of this style is purely aesthetic and is designed to create the appearance of a realistic milk-filled cup.

Can glitter be added?

No.

Glitter is not compatible with the Milky Cup solution and will not produce a desirable result.

Can mica powder be added?

No.

Mica powder is also not compatible with this style and is not recommended.

Will the color stay mixed forever?

No.

Over time, the paint used to create the milky appearance will naturally begin to settle.

This is a normal characteristic of the Milky Cup style.

Can the paint be mixed back together?

Sometimes, but it can be difficult.

Because of the type of solution used, once the paint settles it can be challenging to fully remix and restore the original appearance.

For this reason, customers should understand that some settling is expected over time.

How long does a Milky Cup last?

Milky Cups can remain beautiful for a period of time, but they are generally not considered one of our longest-lasting specialty cup styles.

The settling that naturally occurs over time is one of the reasons we make sure customers understand the pros and cons before ordering.

Why don't you recommend this style as often?

While Milky Cups can be absolutely beautiful, they have more limitations than many of our other cup styles.

Some important things to consider:

  • No movement effect
  • No glitter options
  • No mica options
  • Paint will naturally settle over time
  • Settled paint can be difficult to remix

Because of these factors, I typically only create Milky Cups upon customer request and always make sure customers understand the pros and cons before ordering.

Should I still order a Milky Cup?

If you love the soft aesthetic of milk-inspired cups and understand the limitations, then absolutely!

Many customers love the look of White Milk, Strawberry Milk, Coffee Milk and Matcha Milk designs.

I simply believe in being transparent about every cup style so you can choose the option that best fits your expectations and preferences.

💖 Final Reminder

Milky Cups are beautiful for customers who love the milk-inspired aesthetic and understand that the style is designed for appearance rather than movement. As with all of our specialty cups, we believe in being upfront about both the advantages and limitations so you can confidently choose the cup that's right for you.
